I loved this flat iron, September 10, 2011 By  ML_Bos - See all my reviews This review is from: X5 Superlite 400F Ceramic Ionic Nano Tourmaline Flat Iron, 1" (Health and Beauty) Ugh, I loved this flat iron. After 5 years of use it died. I had purchased it at a beauty supply store in LA at the recommendation of the owner. It was great! Reliable, light, easy to use. Loved the floating plates because my hair always slid through smoothly; it never got caught or snagged. (that's the thing I hate most when I try other flat irons.) Since it bit the dust, I was looking at flat irons to buy and the choices are mind-boggling. When I looked at the X5 company website, it seems like a small little company, but I thought this flat iron was great quality. Though I was at first tempted to buy a different brand (like CHI or one of the big guys), I loved this iron and it's features. I decided to get the newer version of this one. I hope I like it as much as this older model, though. X5, live up to my high expectations, please!!!!
