You can no longer buy any cordless curling irons of any manufacturer in the retail stores. Braun answered my email by saying it no longer makes them. So while you can -- buy them at Amazon and buy all the energy cells you can. This product will soon not be available at all. That's too bad. I love my Braun cordless curling iron, although it does not last long and I usually have to buy a new one each 9-12 months.

This curling iron is the best for size of barrell, easy to use (no cords to tangle with)and great for travel. I have two, one in the suitcase and one in the bathroom. About the only negative thing is they don't last forever and can't find in locale stores but finding it online was no problem. I will probably order another for backup. I use it every day. Love it!

This item is just as described. I wanted the Braun Cordless Steam Curling Iron, but couldn't find it. I bought this instead. I have heavy hair and it doesn't curl as well as the steam model, but it will do instead.
