This flat iron, as its claim, is the best on the market...period. Yes, it has a hefty price tag but it's worth every penny. This flat iron conditions the hair, makes it super soft and straightens like no other.
My only complaint on this flat iron is the silicone strips. Although they are the best feature of this iron, they are also the worst. Best in the sense, they are super effective when new and clean. Worst in the sense, they quickly discolor and become less effective with use, unless you know how to properly clean them.
After this being my third One-Pass, I have finally figured out how to keep the silicone strips on this thing clean. Read the instruction manual: WIPE THE FLAT IRON OFF AFTER EVERY USE. Otherwise, one can expect to replace the flat iron after about six months of daily use due to the silicone strips becoming discolored and subsequently ineffective. I was amazed at what this iron does! I have course thick hair that's extremely frizzy and that's hard to straighten. I've always resorted to getting the japanese straightening done to my hair because to flat iron my hair myself took way too long. But this really is one pass for me! I was able to straighten all my hair (I have a LOT of hair)under five minutes. It really does what it says. At least for me it works great. Yes this iron is kind of costly but now I see that it really is worth it! I hope the iron doesn't break down quickly or anything. I do wipe it down with a damp soft cloth after each use so we'll see how long this product lasts. I would buy this product again though!
