(Health and Beauty) I am Asian, and have thin, fine hair. When I bought this 6 months back, there were only a handful of options for a 1.25 ionic, tourmaline curling iron. I primarily was looking for this technology because its supposed to make your hair shinier and a healthier alternative to the traditional irons. I decided to go with Metropolis over Magic Ping because of the 10 year warranty. You just can't beat that. Aside from the curling iron feeling a bit lighter than expected (light enough where it feels a bit cheap), I can't really complain. It performs beautifully. I get great looking curls, without the feeling that I'm burning my hair and to my surprise the curls last all day with barely any product needed. Even when I wake up the next morning my curls still have some life in them.

uses. She stated that although it
heated fast and she didn't have the
feeling it was going to burn her
hair, she had accumulation of
hair product to the point she could
not remove it with even, "Dawn and
Dawn removes everything!"
Essentially, for the price she said she was
sorry she did't get another throw away
at Wal Mart for 28.00.
