I purchased this curling iron from Shear Up and I am beyond satified!! I ordered on a Friday afternoon and I received it Monday afternoon. They are located in Ca and I am in Ga! Unheard of! I am very pleased with the product. I have medium length hair and the iron gave me tight curls/waves that lasted even without hairspray. I look forward to purchasing the 1 inch as I am very pleased with the 3/4 inch. This is the first curling product I've used that has worked!! My hair is stick-straight and has never been able to hold a curl (I've tried curlers, rollers, curling irons, products, you name it!) but this curling iron gives my hair curls that literally last ALL DAY. I dry my hair, curl it, and spritz a little hairspray I'm good to go for the day. It takes me about 15 minutes to curl all my hair, which I think is amazing. The glove that comes with it works but not very well, so I've layered a regular little cotton winter glove underneath to keep from burning my fingers. It's possible, though, to just use the one glove without totally burning yourself because you really only have to hold it on there for 4 or 5 seconds. Wonderful curling iron - I hope this one lasts forever but if it doesn't, I'll be buying it again. It will no longer heat up - and when I checked the warranty, I would have to pay $35.00 plus handling to have it repaired under the warranty. Rather ridiculous for a $100. + curling iron.
