I bought this several months back and it worked like a dream. I loved it. I used it about once a week. It suddenly stopped working, it would turn off by itself while I was ironing. I shipped it to the company since it had been less then a year but was VERY disappointed to learn that CRoC will only honor their warranty if it is purchased from Folica.com online. All other online retailers's croc iron don't carry a warranty. I lost $15 in just shipping it and they wanted $15 more if I wanted it returned. They said it was faulty and had it been purchased from Follica.com they would have sent a new one. Save your money.

This particular flat iron was recommended to me by the hairdresser that gave me a Brazilian Blowout Treatment. So far it's helped maintain my hairstyle very well and it's already been 6 weeks since I had the treatment! A big plus is the amount of time that it takes to heat up (less than 60 sec) and to cool down does'nt take much longer.My naturally thick hair is a challenge to keep straight and I've paid as much as $ 175.00 for flat irons that don't perform as well as this Turbobion Croc( less than half that price). I would definately recommend this product.
