There is no where to lay the hot curling irons. It is too large for a small bathroom. The GH5250V1 is the correct size and is what I needed for my use.

Because it has an oily film on the metal you are suppose to "cook" the rods in the oven for several minutes so it can burn off before you use it.
In all fairness I had not READ the instructions COMPLETELY... (I had read about the oily film needing
burned off... not how to use it)..it's a curling iron and I've been using them my whole life....
Needless to say that after having "cooked" the rod (evidenlty longer than 3 minutes).... I put the iron in my hair and white smoke instantly came smoldering out which I immediately started to open the iron to get it off my hair... but instead the iron had already synged my hair completely off! I lost about 4 inches of hair at my checkbone. ~ NOT Happy! ~ The only "silver lining" is that it happened to me (41 yrs old) and not my daughter (15 yrs old) - Can you imagine the end of the world???????????......
